  1. To patch ProWrite 3.2.2, simply move the files of this
  2. archive into the directory where ProWrite is installed.
  3. Then, execute the "ProWrite3.2.2" script either from
  4. the CLI/Shell, or by clicking on its icon.  The icon
  5. says "EXECUTE TO PATCH."  After the patching is done,
  6. you may remove the six files in this archive.

  8. This script will determine which version of ProWrite
  9. that you have and patch ProWrite only if it is version
  10. 3.2.2.  If you do not have ProWrite 3.2.2, then the
  11. script will terminate.  If you have ProWrite 3.2 or
  12. 3.2.1, then you need another patch archive to patch your
  13. version.

  15. This version works correctly under Workbench 1.3 and 2.0.

  17. These files will patch ProWrite 3.2.2 to version 3.2.3.
  18.    It will also patch the PostScript Prep file to the
  19.    latest version.  The PostScript Prep file did not
  20.    change between 3.2.1, 3.2.2, and 3.2.3.

  22. As a note:
  23.   The file PW322-323.pch is the ProWrite 3.2.2 to
  24.       3.2.3 patch file.
  25.   The file PostScript_Prep.pch is the PostScript Prep
  26.       patch file.
  27.   lpatch is the file that does the patching and is
  28.       freely distributable.

  30.   If you would like to patch the files yourself, and
  31.   bypass the script, you may get a synopsis of how the
  32.   lpatch command works by typing 'lpatch' on a CLI/Shell
  33.   prompt line by itself.  It contains the necessary
  34.   information on how it works.
